your life. Then find out  how  life  is  really  meant  to be
lived."

If  I  listen through  my dreams, my body and soul will
speak to me and move me as I need to be moved  in order
to  become  more  complete,   balanced  and  in  harmony
with   life.   If   I   don't   open   myself   to   this   moving
experience of dreams,  I may stagnate,  or the action may
move  out  of  my "dream-theater"  and  into my everyday
life: into my body as headaches, backaches and illnesses,
into accidents,  into  a deterioration  of  relationships, or
as anxiety, dissatisfaction and violence.
I see dreams as  a  form of energy, an  energy which is
part  of  the  power  that  keeps the  world  going. I  know
from experience that  I  can attune  myself  to this power
by being receptive to my dreams.  It  requires simply that
I  be  willing to let go of  whatever  it is in me that blocks
this  force  from  tuning me.  Nightly,  dreams  bring  me
what   I  need  in  order  to  live  better.  It's  up  to  me  to
continue  this process,  to bring dream messages into the
light of day, into my waking consciousness.

MY TOOL KIT

Probably  most  dreams  fulfill some healing function
even  if  we  do not  remember  them  or open up to them.
Some  dreams  "accomplish  themselves."  I've  awakened
from  a  dream  so filled  with its energy that all I needed
was to let  it  sink in  and allow  myself  to  recognize the
changes it brought me.
Other  dreams  are  hard  nuts  to  crack. Having a few
tools handy makes it much easier to open ourselves  and
our dreams  to each other. Here are some  of  the tools I
use to let dreams wake me up.
DREAMLOG:  Here I write it  all down—dreams and
dreamwriting   (see   below),   feelings,   life   situations,
questions and unexpected events in my inner journey.
DREAMPOOL:      Here     my    dreams     are   listed
alphabetically  on  cards,  with  a  few  words  to  indicate
theme, unusual  element  or  chief character. The dreams
are dated so that I can locate them easily in my dreamlog.
