The next thing Kathy knew it was morning and she was waking up. Right away she looked under her pillow and there lay a shiny dime. Then she ran into John's room and he was lying in his crib smiling. He had a new tooth poking out of that smile.

She ran and told Mother right away that she had a new dime and she was sure there really was a tooth fairy. Her mother just smiled.

When she got home to watch television and eat her big, red apple, again came baby brother. This time she let him scrape his new tooth on her apple and eat some with her. It was really a lot of fun eating apples together.
