Walking up-hill
Feeling the blood-beat
Indian energy
Earth fire
My song is like an arrow
I shoot into the sky
My stone it is that arrow’s heart
With wings it longs to fly.
My song is light with laughter
My song is filled with pain
I sing it to the universe
It falls to earth as rain.
My song it is my true name
The name that knows no fear
I speak that name to know One
And when it calls I hear.
It draws me to the mountain’s top
And when I’ve settled there
I sleep amid the raining drops
To wake washed free and bare.
