The very next morning, Barbara’s top boss asked her to take over a chore ordinarily handled by Pam, who was between them in authority. Pam was out ill and the top boss was using this opportunity to clear up a bit of a mess Pam had made. He wanted to get this done while she was out of the way. In other words, Barbara had to reach into a mess created by those over her head. At least the big boss was right beside her. In this office there was a hierarchy of devouring females (black widows). Two were especially close to Pam and, if Barbara wasn’t careful, they would try to do her in for going into Pam’s area of jurisdiction. Needless to say, Pam could be very dangerous if Barbara was not aware of where she made her next move. But, forewarned was forearmed, and Barbara managed to satisfy the top boss without being bitten by the falling black widows.

Sometimes people have good innovative ideas to improve work procedures but, if co-workers are involved, there may be problems getting new programs going. Here is a series of dreams which guided one worker, Nancy, through the battle of revolution which finally saw her new, effective, creative approach duly installed and appreciated. Since babies often symbolize new ideas, I call this series, "Yes, Sir, That’s My Baby."
