attitudes in others as they are developing; but at night, in our sleep, our intuitions are putting it together and bringing it to our attention.

Job insecurity comes to haunt most of us at one time or another. Jill, a competent but apprehensive teacher, had this dream the night before the annual visit from the state director of her special teaching program:

The city supervisor is lecturing and listing on the blackboard the sequence and elements of a perfect lesson plan. She says,"Have your students investigate, reiterate, extrapolate, assimilate and regurgitate."

Jill and I had a good laugh that morning before the state director arrived. As I pointed out to her, "Jill, you do that all the time and it is a perfect lesson plan! Your dream is saying, ’Relax, you know perfectly well what to do.’"

They are lines for registering to take college classes. My brother gets in the line to become a psychologist. I think this is a great idea and join that line also.

Psychology has proved to be a Grand Avenue for him to follow.

His wallet was flat and in need of inflating.) Next a large train comes around the curve (change in direction). My family car is on the track in front of the engine. The train engineer is getting credit for driving the car. I feel concern about the condition of the track ahead of the train. It becomes a road, not a track, and the snow (wife’s coldness toward the move) has been shoveled away. I can see a smooth road ahead!

A typist whose job had become merely mechanical and unfulfilling had this dream reviewing her situation. Her dream:

I discover my arm is transparent and I can look through the skin at all the veins. It is like a mechanical arm and I wonder how I will be  able to go  to  work  and
