THE BOOK OF DREAMSHoward Schwartz, English professor at the University of St. Louis (see Sundance, Spring, 1977 for examples of his work) and Henry Reed, editor of Sundance, are collaborating with dreamers to create The Book of Dreams, a compilation of the most interesting dreams that can be found. Have you had a dream that makes an interesting story itself about any of the following topics?
The dreams will not be analyzed but instead will be treated as literature. The topics suggested are meant to prompt you to look over your dreams for the interesting stories or vignettes. The editors are also interested in childhood dreams, recurrent dreams, prophetic dreams and especially striking dreams. Every person whose dream is chosen for publication will receive a free copy of The Book of Dreams. As the book progresses, portions of it will appear in the Community Dream Journal. Dreams that are submitted anonymously will be accepted. Otherwise, please indicate how and if you want your name used. Submissions that fail to indicate that consent is given for publication cannot be considered. Address: The Book of Dreams, c/o Sundance. 142
