SUBSCRIBERS' DREAMSDreams reflecting upon the nature of theSundance Community Dream JournalAs part of the subscription policy for the Journal, we have had the following suggestion: "We encourage you to invite your dreams to comment on your subscription to Sundance Community Dream Journal. For example, try writing a letter to your dreams, stating your intention of knowing them better, and asking them how your participation in the Journal might affect you and your dream life. Place your letter with your subscription form under your pillow for a night or two, and send along any dreams that result." In each issue of the Journal we publish a collection of dreams sent to us by subscribers who had either followed our suggestion or used their own methods to obtain their dreams' viewpoint on our experimental publication. As one approach to conducting the Sundance Experiment, we hope that our growing collection of subscribers' dreams will guide us in creating a truly revelatory dream journal. Moreover, by comparing the collection of dreams and dream symbols with the commonly perceived targetthe Community Dream Journal itselfperhaps we can observe and learn how dreams express themselves. Here is our third collection of dreams from subscribers in response to our standing invitation. There follows a brief commentary prepared by our editors. We welcome your comments about the dreams, suggested interpretations, etc. What kind of guidance for the Journal do you perceive in these dreams? Dear Journal:
A year ago I had a dream of seeing a folded piece of paper on which there was a dancing circle of fire. 130
