Eggs are the offspring of birds—things of great beauty and
symbols of the flight of the soul, of the mind, and of the need for
freedom.
With all these Earth symbols it seemed only natural to let fire and water blend into the shield. Water constantly enters my dreams. The fire is the Sun, said to be the eye of God, and our sustenance. Fire lies below our feet, in the Earth, and it, like air and water, transforms all energy; and we are energy, as is the Earth, and we are all one.  120
