our dreams we become more holistic
individually. We do it by dramatizing
the dreams in an atmosphere of
mutually supportive interest,
empathically playing the roles of our
dream images and responding with
our resonant feelings, working more
nonverbally than verbally in a
playful spirit. For more information,

A Feminine Sundance
A special issue of Sundance
(Summer, 1979, Vol.III, No. 2) is being
prepared to express the feminine
perspective on dreams. We are
looking for contributors (primarily
but not necessarily women) to send us
dreams, letters, articles, poetry and
artwork that relate to this general
theme. You may have had a dream
that portrays some new symbolic
insight into the nature of the feminine
in our time (see the dream on page 256
of this issue of Sundance). Perhaps
you have developed some special
dreamwork methods for sharing with
women (see "Dream Weekend" on
page 266 of this issue). We are also
interested in receiving reports of
studies on women's dreams,
theoretical articles concerning the
relationship between the feminine
and dreaming as well as purely
"feminine intuitions" and other
creative expressions of The Dream.
Deadline for contributions is October
1, 1978. Published contributors will
receive a free subscription to
Sundance. For this special issue,
contact June Bro, Women's
Sundance, P.O. Box 595, Virginia
Beach, VA 23451.

Read Books for Sundance
We need people to read some of the
older, fine books on dreams and write
synopses of them for publication in
Sundance. A synopsis is a 10-15 page
digest of the book in concise essay
form, intended to provide a learning
experience for subscribers who might
not otherwise find an opportunity to
read the book itself. We offer free
subscriptions to Sundance for your
help—the reading will be fun and
profitable in itself; however, although
doing the synopsis will instill the
message of the book into your mind
forever, the writing of it will take time
and effort. For more information and
the current list of book selections,
please contact Henry Reed,
Sundance, P.O. Box 595, Virginia
Beach, VA 23451.
New Dream Journal
A new journal devoted to dreams,
called Dreamweaver Journal, has
begun publication this spring in
Canada. For further information,
write to Dreamweaver, 1450
Sheppard W., Suite 605, Downsview,
Ontario, Canada M3M 2X1.
Renew Sundance Subscriptions
This is the last issue of the second
year's subscription to Sundance—
Please renew! You can help us
continue to offer Sundance at low cost
by renewing now on your own
initiative. It costs us time and money
to print and mail out special renewal
notices. Thank you.
