motion. I resume walking down the hall, holding papers
under my right arm, and see people moving in and out of
openings in the walls. Two people are concerned with
an international diet food that is useful, but dangerous
to mix with alcohol. I seem to know all these people and
how the world events affect them. All the while I seem to
be observing this man walking down the endless
corridor. Although the people are working together, a
deep loneliness pervades each one in some way.
(2) It is dark. I hold a glass mug which sparkles. It is empty. The glass gives a pale glow. It is very lightweight. There is an inscription or reflection inside: "Sundance dream ..." It's too faint to read. I am tired. My hand falls and I drift off in the distance on a boat. (L.T., Arlington, Virginia)
I am in a large house. It is night. Many people are with me but they are sleeping. I walk through one of the rooms and go to the window. I see the sun in the night sky. I run to awaken the sleeping people to hurry and see the sun shining at night. I see that there are symbols appearing on the sun, rotating about the surface. The symbols are a hippopotamus, a lion and an eagle. As I watch I exclaim, "This is one-half a syndrome." Then I wonder what I mean by that statement. (T.S.G., Asheville, North Carolina)
Washing clothes in a basement. Now I am upstairs in Unity Church, talking with Rev. Betty White and others. It seems that there are several meetings being held, all on one night, and I feel bad about having to miss some of them. At first I think that the meetings are being held in several different places, but then I am informed that they are all being held at the church. Now I feel better, because I can at least come to the building and get in on most of the classes. (C.C., Great Falls, Montana) The house I am living in is being destroyed by a violent storm. Lightning strikes a tree outside the house. I see it happening and tell everyone to drop to the floor. The tree hits the house down on the far side to my right. It doesn't look as though there is a lot of damage. But then lightning strikes another tree that falls on the house dead center, cutting the house in two. The thunder is so loud. We know we have to move. A big picture window is still intact. I can see down over the lake to 278
