These rendered expressions often bring forth other previously unrecognized desires of the unconscious. But you say, I'm not at all poetic. Okay, there is a simple formula for one form of condensed verbal expression called a cinquain (sin-cain). It may be a single or a double cinquain. There are five lines graduating from one syllable, or two, to four or eight syllables and then back to one or two.
 
Single Cinquain
 
Jet
Speedy
Flies the world.
Expansive life,
Plane.
Double Cinquain
 
Lion
Sleek, claws, mane, teeth
Wild jungle beast of prey
Inspires my admiration
Leo
 
The first line names the image.
The second line describes the image.
The third line tells its use.
The fourth line tells how you feel about it.
The fifth line renames the image.
