C: Think a minute. What do the workshops mean to you? Katie?

K: I have mine. (Her answer) Fun.

C: You have fun. What part of it is fun?

K: We get to tell dreams we never got to tell before. We never got to see the life of what dreams mean to us.

C: You never got to see the life of what dreams mean to you. Do you see them differently now?

K: Yes.

C: In what way?

K: I see it... now that we tell our dreams, it feels . . . fun.

C: It feels what?

K: We can feel the dreams as we act them out. And now that we stopped acting them out, it doesn't seem ... it doesn't bring any ... reliableship.

C: OK, so you would like to do more acting out of dreams.

K: Yeah.

C: Does anyone else have anything different to say? Wanda?

W: Well ... oh, when I first started this workshop, dreams meant nothing to me. I had a dream. I thought it was ... yuck. Stupid. And once my mother even wrote me what to dream, but I dreamt.. .

C: Your mother what?

W: Wrote me what to dream about.

C: She wrote you what to dream about?

W: Yeah. A little dream that she thought would be cute. See, I couldn't remember my dreams so I just made them up. There was ... about... a few dreams that were real.

C: There were a few dreams that were real?

W: Uh huh. About the witch.

C: Are you starting to remember more dreams that are real?

W: More fake dreams.

C: Fake dreams.

W: And I... but... every night what I should do is... have my dream, then type it out on a piece of paper, save it for Monday or Friday. (The days of the workshop)

C: That's a good idea. A very good suggestion. Jane, it's your turn.

J: I have a dream... you know... you can't get rid of it... you know ... really scared about it. You can talk about it and then... then the next time you won't really be scared about it 'cause you can... you can talk to it and tell it, "I'm not scared."

C: Are you starting to talk about your dreams at home?

J: You can talk about what you've been doing so that we can get rid of the dreams that we ... that were scary dreams.

C: So that's what it's been for you. How about you, Sally? Have you noticed anything different? No? How come you like to come?

S: I don't realize anything.

C: You're not aware of any differences. Annie?

A: I just think it's fun. I agree with Katie. There should be more acting out.

C: All right. How about you, Ruth?

R: I think it's so you really realize what you're dreaming. Like you...
