... I am on a tour, visiting
ancient ruins. We all have
fresh new cameras supplied by the tour company.
There
are dark-skinned children who we are friendly
with even
though we can not speak their language ...
... a tour of
the laboratory. No lights are on, but we
can see by the light of the moon
shining in the windows.
After the tour, we go into
a large hall to an elevator. I
take a long ride down alone, and
then step out into the
brightly lit lobby . . .
... I'm in a movie theater with
crowds of people coming
in. Then I'm on board a
ship. Elsie Sechrist [author of
"Dreams: Your Magic Mirror"] is on
board, and I am
happy at the prospect of making the voyage with her ...
... A young man is giving a
lecture in an auditorium on
"Metamorphosis of a Butterfly." There
is a book, with
beautiful colored pictures of butterflies. The wings
of the
butterflies are faces. One that caught my
eye was of a
very wise old man ...
... I am at
my childhood home reading in the
news
about an exhibit or fair. There is a $50 first
prize for the
best display of a dream. I know I haven't won a prize,
but
very much enjoyed taking part. The
exhibition hall is
huge and in the center is a giant
oval section filled with
dream displays. I walk around filled with
happiness and
joy, very glad that next year there will be another one ...
Perhaps you can get a feeling
from these dreams
about something of a communal or group
effort in the
research. Some of the dreams presented
even more
explicit images concerning the nature of a
cooperative
venture in dreaming.
... I am walking to a hill with
a man, my brother,
Joseph of Egypt. We walk to the
edge of a path around
the hill and sit down, joining the circle
of dreamers. It is
dawn, flushed with golden light. There is
a stone church
on the hill, with a dark archway in the center.
A menace
is present, but kept away by the sunlight.
We are aware
of the presence of the Lord ...
